Important Reminder: Storage of faecal samples from cull animals awaiting Johne鈥檚 ELISA results
PCHS members should collect and store a faecal sample from any animal being culled while its Johne鈥檚 ELISA test result is still pending. If the ELISA later returns positive, the stored sample can be PCR tested to confirm the result, helping to protect the herd鈥檚 Johne鈥檚 Risk Level status and avoid unnecessary accreditation impacts.…
